NORTH Down estate agency Pinkertons has become the latest franchisee of online estate agency service 'Love2Move', which has close to 50 operations across the UK.
The service allows high street estate agents to offer fixed price online property sales of £895, sitting alongside their traditional offering, but aimed at predominately internet savvy millennials looking to save money.
Pinkertons, founded in 2006, operates from offices on Bangor's Main Street and at the Square in Comber.
Its managing director Victoria Pinkerton said: “We've always aimed to do things differently here, and being part of the Love2Move network clearly demonstrates that approach.
“Online-only transactions are increasingly becoming more popular to certain sectors of the property market, and by introducing a fixed fee online only option allows us meet the needs of those segments.”
Georgina Cox, chief executive of Love2Move (www.thelove2movenetwork.co.uk) said: “Pinkertons really impressed us at The Negotiator Awards in London last year and we wanted them to be a part of our network.
“Welcoming Pinkertons into our 46-strong network during these challenging times, is a true embodiment of a forward-thinking agent who recognises that providing clients with a choice of selling options, including fixed price online sales with different payment terms, can create more sustainable business.”
