Three men in their twenties and thirties and a 24-year-old woman have been charged following a creeper burglary in north Belfast.

A silver Toyota Corolla was stolen on Premier Drive, off the Shore Road, at around 4.50am yesterday.

The car was later spotted in Rathcoole yesterday afternoon and was chased by police. It crashed into two other cars before it was stopped on the Antrim Road.

Two men aged 30 and 28 have been charged with motoring offences. The 30-year-old man was also charged with failing to stop for police.

Both men are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court today.

A 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have also been charged with driving offences. Both are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on May 11.

A 29-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking in which vehicle is driven dangerously, possession of Class A and Class C drugs, and using a motor vehicle without insurance, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
