A FATHER-OF-FOUR who died following an alleged assault while on holiday in Majorca has been laid to rest in Co Derry.

Aaron Henderson, from Coleraine, was on holiday with his girlfriend in Magaluf last month when he sustained severe head injuries.

He later died in hospital.

A 35-year-old English bar manager, Paul Waugh, has already appeared in court accused of Mr Henderson's murder.

The 30-year-old’s funeral service took place at his home in Cloyfin Park, Coleraine, yesterday afternoon followed by burial in Coleraine Cemetery.

Mr Henderson's family asked mourners to make donations to The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust instead of flowers.

The charity helped the Henderson family bring Mr Henderson's body back to Northern Ireland.
