Police have said they were called to the scene of a “sudden death” in Co Antrim following an earlier report of a serious crash.

Part of Craigs Road in Rasharkin was closed on Wednesday following what police described as a “serious road traffic collision”, and diverted motorists from the scene.

On Thursday, a PSNI spokesperson provided an update, stating: “Police were called to the scene of a sudden death of a man in the Craigs Road area of Rasharkin on Wednesday 10th January. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
