The Foyle Bridge in Derry was closed in both directions for a time on Saturday (21 March).
A PSNI spokesperson said it was due to an incident in which there was a “concern for safety”.
The NI Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were also in attendance at the scene.
Road users are advised that all lanes of the Foyle Bridge are now open except one city-bound lane which remains closed.
