- LAST week I mentioned a special offer on a turntable from www.currys.co.uk. I forgot to mention the B-side of that deal - six months' free Spotify Premium. The music streaming service normally costs £9.99 per month and that’s the price you’ll pay when it automatically renews unless you cancel before the six months are up. Many other products on the site also come with the freebie, which is available until October 4. It's not available if you've previously tried Premium but will work for new accounts. Products eligible for the offer are: laptops, video games, games consoles, tablets, smart TVs, smart watches, smart home products or audio products costing more than £49. Read more about it at https://www.spotify.com/currys.

- We hear about the two-metre social distancing restriction every day but how about two Mitres? At www.mitre.com there's a buy-one-get-one-free deal on selected footballs, starting with the Impel for £10. Avoid using discount codes or you won't get the freebie.

- NHS staff can apply for a Health Service Discounts cashback Visa card. It puts some money back in your wallet every time you spend. There is a fee of £2.99 per year but that is waived for the first year. Participating retailers include Caffe Nero, Gap, River Island, M&S, Sainsbury's, Asda and Boots. Read the full terms and conditions before you apply at https://healthservicediscounts.com/nhs-cashback-card.

- You can get 20 per cent off orders from selected restaurants every Tuesday on Just Eat. Log in at www.just-eat.co.uk and check the weekly offers in your area.

- Debenhams has gone into administration but www.debenhams.com is still trading and there are special offers on footwear at the moment. Some shoes, such as the Faith range, are as cheap as half price. Other brands on offer include Dune with 20 per cent off, women's Skechers with 20 per cent off, men's Skechers with 30 per cent off and women's Puma with 20 per cent off. No end date for the promotion is specified. For peace of mind, I'd advise paying by credit card because that protects your purchase under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. That way, if a retailer fails to deliver your order, you can claim a refund from your card provider.
