Tesco's scheme has closed for this year but its competitors are nearing their deadlines. These are 11.59pm on November 1 for Sainsbury's and 5pm on November 21 for Asda, with returns of 5 per cent and 5.35 per cent respectively if you make the maximum deposit. The Co-op has no deadline but its maximum bonus of 4 per cent is paid each December and must be used within that month. Iceland's 5 per cent maximum incentive doesn't expire and is paid within 48 hours.
Check each provider’s terms and conditions before making a deposit. Think about how much you are prepared to commit to spending with your chosen retailer too.
