Allianz Football League Division One

Dublin v Mayo

(tonight, Croke Park, 7pm)

DUBLIN enter this match with Mayo with the second worst scoring average in Division One. The worst? League leaders Monaghan. Jim Gavin’s side may not be racking up huge scores yet, but Diarmuid Connolly could be back to help that aspect of things. Mayo will be looking to end Dublin’s 32-game unbeaten run, and achieving that would offer a very small bit of revenge for last year’s All-Ireland final loss.

Odds: H: 4/6 D: 15/2 A: 13/8

Verdict: Mayo

Cavan v Donegal

(tonight, Kingspan Breffni Park, 7pm)

CAVAN have played Ulster opposition in six of their last 10 League games and they have another derby match to look forward to tonight. Mattie McGleenan’s side have had an extra week’s rest following last week’s postponed match against Tyrone while Donegal were involved in a draining drawn encounter with Dublin. Rory Gallagher’s team have three points from three games and an away win would go a long way to securing their Division One safety.

Odds: H: 1/1 D: 15/2 A: 11/10

Verdict: Cavan

Tyrone v Monaghan

(tonight, Healy Park, 7pm)

MONAGHAN are attempting to secure back-to-back League wins in Omagh after their 1-13 to 0-9 win there two years ago. Malachy O’Rourke has a number of injury concerns for this game with Colin Walshe and Darren Hughes doubtful. Tyrone haven’t played since their draw with Dublin, but last week’s postponed fixture against Cavan would have given their St Mary’s contingent a well-deserved week’s rest after their Sigerson success.

Odds: H: 2/5 D: 8/1 A: 11/4

Verdict: Tyrone

Roscommon v Kerry

(tomorrow, Dr Hyde Park, 2pm)

THE signs are already looking ominous for Roscommon as they chase their first points against a Kerry side that is trying to avoid a third defeat on the trot. Monaghan were the latest to put the Kingdom to the sword, after Mayo before them, and Eamonn Fitzmaurice will be expecting a reaction here.

Odds: H: 10/3 D: 8/1 A: 1/3

Verdict: Kerry

Allianz Football League Division Two

Kildare v Fermanagh

(tomorrow, Newbridge, 1pm)

FERMANAGH are on the road for the third time in four rounds and another defeat would leave them right in a relegation battle. Kildare were angered that Derry’s late winning goal last week was not ruled out for what they believe was a foul on goalkeeper Mark Donnellan, but that couldn’t mask the fact that they failed to disrupt Derry’s second-half momentum.

Odds: H: 4/9 D: 15/2 A: 5/2

Verdict: Kildare

Meath v Galway

(tomorrow, Páirc Tailteann, 2pm)

Meath were rudderless against Galway and two losses in three games is worrying for Andy McEntee’s side. Galway, by contrast, are flying with five points from a possible six and they have been boosted by the recent return of Shane Walsh from injury.

Odds: H: 13/10 D: 15/2 A: 5/6

Verdict: Draw

Clare v Cork

(tomorrow, Cusack Park, 2pm)

CLARE struggled badly in difficult conditions away to Galway last week but they are unbeaten at home in the League since Armagh turned them over in March 2015. Cork were very professional against Fermanagh last week but that was their first win of the campaign.

Odds: H: 10/3 D: 8/1 A: 1/3

Verdict: Cork

Derry v Down

(tomorrow, Owenbeg, 2.30pm)

IT is a long time since both Derry and Down have entered League matches on the back of wins, but that’s the case here after victories over Kildare and Meath respectively. The Oakleafers usually do well at Owenbeg, and should do again.

Odds: H: 10/11 D: 15/2 A: 6/5

Verdict: Derry
