ST BRENDAN’S MANCHESTER: St Brendan’s GAA Manchester are hosting their Annual Dinner Dance on February 18 2017 at the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham. Tickets are available for £30 per person to include a three-course meal, special guest speaker, live band, presentations, auction and late bar. Nine players will be presented with their provincial medals after helping Lancashire win the All-Britain inter-county Championship. St Brendan’s are the most successful team in the history of Lancashire GAA and are connected to firms recruiting in the construction and legal sectors currently. GLEN ROVERS ARMOY: The AGM of Glen Rovers GAC Hurling Club will take place this Sunday November 27 at 6pm in the clubrooms. The club encourage as many members and non-members as possible to attend.

EDERNEY: The AGM takes place tonight, Thursday November 24 at 7.30pm in the clubrooms. Everyone welcome.

KEADY MICHAEL DWYERS: The Senior presentation evening will take place this Saturday November in The Quietman, with proceedings getting underway at 9pm. Music and refreshments will be provided throughout the evening. The club will also hold their first ever Senior Ladies Christmas Fayre on Friday December 2 from 7pm-late in the G McGleenan Park Pavilion. Admission is £5 and stalls include make-up, handbags, hampers, cupcakes, Forever Living, Scentsy, Marley, photography, paintings, Avon and many others.

DONAGHMORE: The 2016 Youth Presentation for Boys and Girls U8-U16 teams will take place this Saturday November 26 at 6pm in the Bardic Theatre with refreshments served afterwards in the main hall of the Torrent Complex. Players should wear their club colours for the evening. The annual mass for deceased members takes place tonight, Thursday, at 7.30pm in Donaghmore.

P3-P6 boys indoor football Winter training continues on Thursday in the new Sports Hall at St. Joseph's Convent, Donaghmore. P3-P4 boys are 6.30-7.30pm and P5-P6 boys are 7.30-8.30pm.

The Ladies winter training programme continues on Monday in the new sports hall at St Joseph’s Grammar School. Next year’s U10s (2007/8) and U12s (2005/6) training from 6pm-7pm. Next year’s U14s (2003/4) and U16s (2001/2) training is from 7.15pm-8.30pm. Old and new faces welcome. Bring a bottle of water, gum shield and footwear suitable for indoor training.

GLASDRUMMAN: The committee and members of Naoimh Mhuire CLG Glasdromain are saddened to hear of the death of former player Sean McGreevy husband of Maura, father of Claire, Emma, Shauna and Laura, brother of Liam, Veronica, Paul, Breige, Dermot, Kay, Marian and the late Dennis and uncle of former players Neil and Colm. Deepest sympathies to his wife, daughters and the entire McGreevy family circle at this sad time. Go dtuga Dia suaimhneas sioraí dó.

ST MARY’S, ARDMORE: U6, U8 and U10 football continues every Wednesday from 7.30pm-8.30pm at Glenaden, Trench Road. The annual draw takes place at the end of January and tickets are now on sale at £5 each or book of five for £20 and 10 for £40. Draw Prizes are £1000, £500, £300, £200 and £100.

CLAN NA GAEL LURGAN: The annual mass for deceased members and friends takes place on Monday November 28 at 7.30pm in St Paul’s chapel. The AGM will take place on Sunday December 4 at 3pm in the clubrooms and the Christmas party is set for Saturday December 17. More details to follow.

ST JOHN’S DRUMNAQUOILE: The Juvenile presentation evening takes place this Friday, November 25 at 7.30pm. There will be light refreshments for everyone

The Seniors are running a choose the box for the time of the first goal in the Ulster club final between Kilcoo and Slaughtneil. There will be 63 boxes. One for each minute and one for added time in the first half, added time in the second half and one for no goal. Each box number has been designated a randomly chosen minute. If the box you have chosen is gone the number closest will be given. Entry is £15 per box with the winner receiving £200. All money must be paid by 8pm Friday evening.
