A DONEGAL drinks company has won the support of a leading Hollywood actor.
Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind star Russell Crowe has posted on social media for the second time about well-known Inishowen business, Muff Liquor Company.
In a post on Twitter, where he has almost three million followers, Crowe shared a photograph of the Donegal company's Irish potato craft gin along with the caption, "Goes down well ….".
It comes just days after the New Zealand-born actor (58) shared another post about the gin on New Year’s Eve.
In what appears to be the same picture of the bottle of alcohol, Crowe also wrote that he was "getting ready for 2023", with the tweet already viewed more than 870,000 times.
Unsurprisingly, responses to his two Twitter posts were accompanied by the usual quips that have been associated with the village of Muff.
