Arrest over ATM theft from Richhill petrol station

A 22-year-old man has been in connection with the theft of an ATM from a petrol station in Richhill, Co Armagh, on December 20.

The man was arrested on suspicion of theft, criminal damage, arson, possession of a firearm without a licence and possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances.

A digger was stolen from a nearby site and an ATM stolen from the Portadown Road premises. The digger was found alight at the scene.

Police recovered a van, trailer and the ATM in the Moy Road area.
