POLICE are investigating after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Co Antrim.

A window was smashed and a front door damaged during the incident at the house in the Crosshill View area of Kells at around 9.30pm on Wednesday.

No-one was in the property at the time.

A spokesman for the PSNI said: "The incident is not being treated as sectarian or a hate crime.

"We are working to establish a motive and investigations are ongoing."
