AN influx of Christmas trees at recycling centres has signalled the end of the Christmas festivities.
Yesterday - January 6 - marked the date when people traditionally take down their Christmas tree and decorations.
According to tradition, the Twelfth Night is the date that Christmas decorations should finally be taken down and houses returned to normal.
The date marks the Epiphany, which is officially the end of the festive season.
It's the day when the Three Wise Men, accompanied by the shepherds and angels, visited baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem.
