Gardai investigating possible abduction of woman in Co Wicklow

Gardai were last night investigating following reports that a woman may have been abducted in Co Wicklow.

IT student, Jastine Valdez has not been seen since she left her home in Enniskerry village on Saturday afternoon.

Gardaí subsequently received a report of a woman being forced into a car on a road out of the village, past the Powerscourt Estate, at around 6.15pm

A phone, which is believed to belong to the 24-year-old, was subsequently found at the scene.

Garda officers have appealed for information about a a dark-coloured Nissan SUV, which has a partial registration number of 171-D-2, which was seen in the area,

Ms Valdez's family are said to be extremely concerned for her welfare.

The student is described as 5ft tall, of slight build with long black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a dark-coloured jacket, a white T-shirt, grey leggings and runners.
