Property: Demand for property remains strong, says leading online agent

Iamsold, whose online bidding and auction platform is used by over 4,000 partner estate agents across the UK and Ireland, have noted stock levels are increasing gradually over the past few months.

According to the latest PropertyPal market snapshot, total stock levels in Northern Ireland are up 28 per cent on the same date last year which is significant, however the report says that stock levels are still on average 34 per cent lower than May 2019 figures.

The report also revealed that overall the volume of property sales in Northern Ireland are slightly down year on year, with the overall sales volume down 8 per cent on sales figures from 2019.

Iamsold director, Patrick Convey, said: “Demand for properties remains strong, with buyers still eager to secure their ideal home or investment.

“With stock levels remaining lower than we would like to see, there is still strong competition on properties, and we are seeing sale prices being achieved on the platform remaining steady.”

Iamsold are now taking entries for their upcoming online auctions taking place on July 20 and September 7.
