BELFAST-based software company Totalmobile, a market leader in field service and mobile workforce management technology, has expanded into the Australian market.

It has opened its first international office in Sydney, taking its innovative solutions to a whole new audience and heralding a new era of field service delivery.

It says the expansion beyond its core UK and European markets will redefine field service management in a range of areas including the housing, health/social care, emergency services, telecoms sectors and commercial field service.

Totalmobile (formerly known as Consilium Technologies) has more than 1,000 customers and 300,000 mobile-workforce users across the public services, property, facilities management, transport and infrastructure sectors.

In 2022 the company (www.totalmobile.co.uk), which employs more than 100 people, posted revenues of £46.5 million.

Chief executive Phil Race described the expansion down under as "a momentous step forward".

He added: "We are eager to extend our reach to Australia and adjacent territories, where our solutions will help clients transform service delivery, increase productivity, drive down costs and ultimately deliver better services to their customers.

"Our new office in Sydney represents our commitment to providing local support and expertise to our partners in this vibrant region.”

Leading its venture into Australia, Totalmobile has appointed a new regional director for the region in Andrew Wiltshire, who brings a wealth of experience in IT and roles.

The expansion also marks the start of Totalmobile’s plan to internationalise the business and deliver innovative solutions to a wider global audience.

Recent demand has seen the company partner with two major health and social care clients in the region, marking a significant milestone in Totalmobile’s global growth journey.

Its field service management software has already garnered acclaim in the UK with major clients including the NHS, MJ Quinn, Flagship Group and Equans.

In 2021 it completed its biggest-ever acquisition by buying workforce management and analytics technology provider Cognito iQ in Newbury, which added transport and logistics-focused customers including Hermes, Transport for London and Argos to its customer portfolio.
