PLANNING and strategic communications consultancy Gravis is expanding its services into Britain by opening offices at Holborn in London and Exchange Place in Edinburgh.

It comes in the wake of significant new client wins and follows its move into Dublin in 2018.

Gravis provides planning consultancy and strategic communications advice on aspects of built development including renewable energy, housing, retail, infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and commercial floorspace.

It numbers many high-profile private sector companies, public sector organisations and financial institutions among its client base.

Richard Bowman, managing director of the group's planning division, said: “This expansion will allow us to meet the needs of existing clients in Great Britain as well as providing us with a platform for future growth.

“Our business has performed well in recent years, with strong demand for our integrated planning and strategic communications consultancy services, particularly in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure and housing.’’

David Kerr, managing director of the firm’s strategic communications division, added: “With unprecedented levels of scrutiny and requirement for attention to detail, our clients understand the value and importance of strategic communications services in helping to deliver high quality public engagement.”

Gravis, which has 24 members of staff, has supported more than £12 billion of development across more than 5000 client projects.
