1. When did you think about a career in music and what were your first steps into it?

I can never remember longing to be an entertainer. My ability to sing was recognised at an early age by a Christian Brother, leading me to the stage, competitions and performance – and eventually to becoming a member of a local band The Melody Boys and performing all over the north. Winning a talent competition led to opening other doors and the rest is history.

2. Best gigs you’ve been to?

Bruno Mars at the Liverpool Echo Arena, Brian Adams's One Man Show at Liverpool Empire theatre and Garth Brooks on his first visit to Ireland at The Point Depot?

3. Fantasy wedding/birthday party band?

Bruno Mars and the band that he toured with would be amazing.?

4. The record you’d take to a desert island?

I’d have to make up a long-play combination of different songs and artists – I truly do listen to many genres

5. And the book?

I don’t read a lot but when I do I like to get into a good crime book.

6. Top three films?

Most recently I saw The Greatest Showman, when first released I loved Pretty Woman and from an early age I always loved The Dam Busters.

7. Worst film you’ve seen and why?

This one is difficult but if I were pushed I’d have to go back a few years to a movie called All The Presidents Men. Why? Because I probably didn’t understand it – too deep!

8. Favourite authors?

Agatha Christie, John Grisham and Ian Rankin.

9. Sports you most enjoy and your top team?

I love my Gaelic sports, along with Formula One racing. Top team for me is my native Tyrone and, with Formula One, Lewis Hamilton driving for Mercedes.

10. Ideal holiday destination?

I love the Costa Calida region of Spain

11. Pet hate?

I hate Tuna fish given to me in any shape, form or mix.

12. What’s your favourite:

Dinner? Salmon with vegetables and baby potatoes.

Dessert? Cheese Board with port.

Drink? A nice bottle of Sancerre

13. Who is your best friend and how do you know each other?

I have a few friends throughout my lifetime, who know who they are.

14. Is there a God?

Absolutely! Without my faith to deal with the trials and tribulations of daily life, and the knowing that at any time I can turn to God, I feel this life we live would have very little to offer.
