Two arrested in relation to murder of Lithuanian

POLICE investigating the murder of a Lithuanian in Co Tyrone were questioning two men on Monday night.

The body of 32-year-old Gediminas Stauskas was found in a garage on the Moor Road near Clonoe on October 15.

A 27-year-old man was arrested in Dungannon on Monday while a 41-year-old man was held in Coalisland.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison said: "The suspects have been arrested as part of the overall investigation on suspicion of assisting an offender and withholding information."

Both men were being questioned at Dungannon police station.

A 34-year-old man was remanded in custody last week after he was charged with the murder.
