Leo Varadkar received a special VIP delivery in the run-up to Daffodil Day on Friday.

SO, it’s almost spring, and with it comes the cheery sight of daffodils, from zingy canary yellow types to subtle creams and whites, as well as combinations incorporating deep orange and salmon pink.

A HOST of golden daffodils will be in bloom this spring in gardens nationwide celebrating the 250th anniversary of the birth of William Wordsworth whose most famous poem, I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud – is also known as Daffodils.
