BELCOO and Clonoe could go head to head in the PDC World Darts Championship when the second round draw in the £2.5million event paired good pals Brendan Dolan and Mickey Mansell.

As the 28th seed, Fermanagh arrow ace Dolan goes straight into the last 64, while the Clonoe Cyclone must first overcome China's Xiaochen Zong in the glamour event which gets under way at Alexandra Palace in London on December 15.

Elsewhere in the draw, Co Antrim's 22-year-old rising star Josh Rock - the 23rd seed - faces Luke Woodhouse or Berry van Peer, while Derry's 27th seed Daryl Gurney tackles Steve Beaton or Wessel Nijman.

The great Michael van Gerwen awaits Meathman Keane Barry if the 21-year-old can get the better of Reynaldo Rivera.

Limerick's William O'Connor must overcome Bhav Patel to get a shot at 17th seed Chris Dobey.

Carlow's Steve Lennon plays Owen Bates ahead of a potential showdown with ninth seed Jonny Clayton.

Dolan - 'History Maker' on account of hitting the first ever double-in nine darter on his way to the final of the 2011 World Grand Prix in Dublin in which he was defeated by the great Phil 'The Power' Taylor - is confident of a good run in the tournament, which has yet to have an Irish winner.

"There's definitely every chance of a first ever Irish world champion and I would love that to be me," said Dolan.
