NIAMH Murray from Armagh champions Clann Éireann has been honoured with The Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month award for September 2023.

Clann Éireann recently retained their Armagh Senior title with victory over Carrickcruppen in the Final – and Niamh produced a player of the match performance in the showpiece decider.

23-year-old Niamh, who is a full-time musician, scored 1-6 on September 23 as Clann Éireann scored a 1-15 to 0-4 win.

Niamh had also starred in the semi-final victory over Ballyhegan, notching 0-6 as Clann Éireann booked their place in the Final.

Clann Éireann are now looking forward to an Ulster Club Championship quarter-final against Cavan champions Drumlane on Sunday October 22.

Niamh was presented with her Player of the Month award this afternoon by Edele O’Reilly, Director of Sales and Marketing, The Croke Park.
