The Peter Harte black card saga may not be over yet.

The Tyrone star was cleared to play against Roscommon on Saturday after having one of three cards rescinded.

A proposed suspension was lifted, but manager Mickey Harte was angered by the fact that the two remaining sanctions, which he felt were soft, remain in place, meaning his nephew is still just one away from a ban.

The Red Hand boss suggested that a further appeal may be lodged.

“I’m disappointed in that, very disappointed,” he said.

“I think there is some capacity to appeal all right, so maybe that’s being considered.”
