Expert line-up to mark your card for Cheltenham Festival at preview night in Donaghmore

A line-up crammed with expert racing knowledge will be in Donaghmore, Co Tyrone on Friday night for a special Cheltenham Festival preview night in aid of St Vincent de Paul.

With the biggest date in the racing calendar just weeks away, punters will be eager to secure that inside knowledge which can deliver for them during the Festival, which has been a boon for Irish racing fans over the years.

The event will take place in the Bardic Theatre on Friday night and will feature renowned pundit and Grand National and Gold Cup-winning jockey Mick Fitzgerald, as well trainer David Casey, who is assistant to the legendary Willie Mullins, and Robbie Power, former jockey and now a race planner for Gold Cup-winning trainer Henry De Bromhead.

Champion Hurdle-winning trainer Gavin Cromwell will also be part of the line-up which includes top racing journalists and tipsters David Jennings (Racing Post), Johnny Dineen (Upping the Ante) and Tony Keenan (At the Races)

This is only the second year the event has been run, with last year’s inaugural staging raising more then £11,000 for St Vincent de Paul.
