On This Day - Jan 5 2000: Pele was voted the best soccer player of the 20th century

Brazil's star Pele being hoisted on shoulders of his team-mates after Brazil won the ninth World Cup final against Italy 4-1 in Mexico City's Estadio Azteca Mexico on June 21 1970.
