CHRIS Froome clinched his second Tour de France title and the Team Sky leader vowed to honour the yellow jersey after his win.
Members of Team Sky and Movistar praised the 30-year-old following his victory.
Though André Greipel of Team Lotto Soudal claimed the twenty first and final stage of the Tour, Sky's Chris Froome sat at the top of the leaderboard ahead of Movistar's Nairo Quintana by 1 minute and 12 seconds who placed second overall, and Alejandro Valverde, also of Movistar, who placed third overall with a time of 5 minutes and 25 seconds.
