LIDL is to demolish a store in Dublin which was bulldozed and burgled during last week's snow storms.

The store in Tallaght was targeted on March 2.

Lidl Ireland said it decided to demolish the store after engineers and consultants assessed the damage.

The company said it had not yet made a decision on any plans for the site.

Customers can take a free daily shuttle bus to the nearest store in Whitestown Way in Tallaght starting at 10.30am on Friday.

Six men have appeared in court charged in connection with the attack.

They have been released on bail to appear again later this month.
