Eleventh night bonfires in Northern Ireland have sadly led to death and injury in recent years.
Just two nights ago, a man was taken to hospital after falling from a pyre in Newtownards.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said it was alerted to an incident on the Portaferry Road on Tuesday at around 10pm.
It has been reported that the man was due to undergo surgery for his injuries on Wednesday.
It is understood he suffered breaks to his left leg, pelvis, ribs and a potential collapsed lung.
Tragically last summer, a man died after falling 50 feet as he helped build a giant structure in Larne.
John Steele (36) lost his life while building a pyre in the Antiville area of the Co Antrim town on July 9 2022.

The father-of-two was said to have been an experienced bonfire builder and had been involved in helping to construct the local pyre for many years.
In 2021, a teenager suffered serious injuries after being engulfed in a fireball at an Eleventh Night bonfire in north Belfast.
He received burn injuries after the incident at a bonfire on Silverstream Crescent in the Ballysillan area.
Police said at the time that the teen, reported to be a 17-year-old, suffered burn injuries to his face and body.
A teenage boy was also airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in 2021 after falling off a bonfire in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.
