Access to a Belfast hospital was restricted on Thursday after emergency services were called to a "suspected gas supply issue".
The NI Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters were called following reports of a "ruptured gas main" at Musgrave Park Hospital in the south of the city.
"Firefighters used a covering jet and two gas monitors. They handed the scene over to the gas supplier and left the scene at 3.31pm," a spokesperson said.
It was reported that a building in the hospital grounds was evacuated.
Police closed access to the hospital from Stockman's Lane "due to a suspected gas supply issue," a PSNI spokesperson said.
Access from the road later reopened.
The Belfast Health Trust has been approached for comment.
