RUSSIAN state television has heard claims that Vladimir Putin should fire a hypersonic nuclear ‘dagger’ missile at Rishi Sunak and give weapons to the IRA so they can target the King at Buckingham Palace.

Pundit Vladimir Soloyov launched a foul-mouthed tirade on Britain and demanded a missile strike on British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, while another commentator said Moscow should arm the IRA for strikes.

The bizarre comments were made during a TV debate about the UK sending Storm Shadow long-range missiles to Ukraine.

Soloyov told viewers that the "use of nuclear weapons is inevitable" adding: "And what should we say to the British?

"Destroy the hell out of all British military structures outside the UK, for a start."

The Metro newspaper reported that the television host then suggested that the Kremlin should "accidentally" supply saboteurs willing to attack UK military bases overseas with "weapons that they could not even think of".

He added that the facilities would "suddenly feel the wrath of God".

Vladimir Rogov, who runs an organisation to support pro-Russians living in invaded Ukraine, also weighed into the discussion and said Moscow should arm the IRA for strikes on Buckingham Palace.

"Can’t we somehow (ensure) the remaining combat wing of the Irish Republican Army, which is fighting against British occupation, has normal weapons (to) hit Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street, and elsewhere?," he asked.

Rogov argued this would amount to offering the Irish 'self-determination' and would also serve to damage British institutions.

'This - and Scotland will be free,' Solovyov responded.

Rogov also claimed President Volodymyr Zelensky has hatched a secret plan to invade Russia – and hand Ukraine nuclear weapons.

Last year,  The Irish News revealed that Putin held meetings with the Official IRA during two visits to Belfast in the 1980s.

The former KGB intelligence officer was part of two separate delegations from the Soviet Union that visited Ireland in 1986, sources linked to the Official movement have claimed.
