A BUSY bridge in south Belfast was closed for several hours this morning amid fears for a person's safety.
The Ormeau Bridge was shut in both directions during morning rush-hour, causing long tail-backs for traffic heading into the city centre.
It is understood the person was later brought to safety by the emergency services.
