Man charged with burglary and motoring offences following arrest in Belfast

The man was arrested in west Belfast on Monday evening following reports of incidents in the area

Police have charged a man aged in his 20s in connection with a reported burglary in north Belfast.

The man was arrested in the Springfield Road area of west Belfast, shortly before midnight on Monday May 6.



He has been charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to property, aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to the vehicle, no driving licence, driving a motor vehicle without insurance, and failing to stop for police.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
