The entrepreneur behind Dublin Wax Museum has launched the world's tallest moving statue.
Standing over 10 storeys high, 'The Giant' statue has a moveable head and arms and can sing and speak.
It has a patented 'skin' which uses programmable LED pixels to take the form of historic or famous figures.
Entrepreneur Paddy Dunning, who helped redevelop Temple Bar in Dublin, is seeking 21 sites for various statues in 21 cities by the end of this year.
"The Giant will be one of the world’s most ambitious cultural and commercial projects bringing together art, amusement and wonder to create a contemporary and highly profitable business," he said.
The Giant is expected to draw approximately 500,000 visitors each year, generating annual revenues of around €12m.
Each Giant will cost between €15–€20m to develop, depending on the location and size of the statue.
