There were 11 further Covid-19 related deaths recorded in Northern Ireland, eight of which occurred during the past 24 hours.

This takes the official Department of Health death toll to 1,026.

There were 456 new cases from tests on 3,077 individuals.

The seven-day total for diagnoses was 2,646.

There are 413 confirmed patients in hospital, with 38 in ICU, 27 of whom are on ventilators.

There are 119 confirmed or suspected outbreaks in care homes.

Mid Ulster recorded the highest number of cases with 60, followed by Belfast with 55 and Newry Mourne and Down with 53.

The average seven day infection rate per 100,000 in Northern Ireland is 140.6. The highest rate is in Mid and East Antrim on of 231.6, followed by Derry and Strabane on 207.1. The Belfast rate is 99.1. The lowest rate is Ards and North Down on 83.3.

Meanwhile, there have been six deaths and another 183 new cases confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
