POLICE investigating the discovery of a man's body in Co Antrim have said it is not being treated as suspicious.

The man's body was found in a house in the Ann Street area of Ballycastle on Thursday evening.

A PSNI spokeswoman said officers had "received a report of concern for safety for a male".

"When officers responded and entered the address, the body of a male was discovered," she said.

"A post mortem is due to be carried to determine the cause of death, however, the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
