A man suffered head and hand injuries when he was beaten in his Co Armagh home.
Police said three men armed with a wooden bat entered the property in the Tandragee Road area of Portadown at around 2.50pm yesterday.
A spokesman described the attack as "vicious" but said the man's injuries "are not believed to be life threatening".
