A woman in her thirties was kicked in the back during a robbery on the Lagan Towpath near Lisburn yesterday afternoon.

The woman was taking a walk when she was attacked by two teenage boys on bicycles at around 4.30pm.

They knocked her to the ground, kicked her, and stole her handbag and watch.

The boys later cycled off towards Hilden.

Police said the women was left badly shaken. 

Her handbag was found in a car park a short time later.

Police appealed to anyone with information to contact them on 101.
