Delays expected as resurfacing work to begin on Belfast's Upper Knockbreda Road

A £170,000 resurfacing scheme on Belfast's Upper Knockbreda Road will get underway on Monday March 30.

The work, from Belvoir Road to Upper Galwally, will be completed with overnight road closures between 10pm and 9am until Sunday April 4.

A diversion will be in place during these times while access for residents and deliveries to Forestside shopping centre will be maintained.

The Department for Infrastructure said it had "carefully planned these road works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimise inconvenience to the public, however, road users should expect some delays and allow additional time when planning their journey".
