A KNIFE has been seized following a fight in south Belfast.

Three men aged 18, 31 and 35 were arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon after the altercation on Agincourt Avenue around 6pm yesterday.

Paramedics later treated a man who had a cut to his head.

PSNI Inspector Nigel Loughlin said the three were arrested after several men were seen fighting in the street.

"One knife was recovered from the scene," he said.

"A number of follow-up searches were carried out in the area but nothing was found."

The three men remained in custody last night.
