A ROMANIAN family has said they want to move after paint was thrown over their home in south Belfast.

The family, including a one-year-old baby, were in the house on Kilburn Street in the Village area when it was attacked on Sunday.

A police spokesperson has said enquiries are “ongoing.”

Police said two masked men came to the house at around 9.45pm. The men kicked the front door of the house before throwing paint.

They later ran away.

A window at the house was also smashed.

None of the family were injured but have been left shaken by the attack.

Journalists who spoke to the family said they were planning to leave the house.

Police appealed to anyone with information to contact them.
