Man due in court in Derry on burglary and driving charges

A 35-YEAR-OLD man is due to appear in court in Derry today charged with burglary and driving offences.

The charges are understood to relate to a burglary at retail premises in the Foyle Street area on July 17 and at licensed premises in the Queen’s Quay area in the early hours of September 8.

He has also been charged with motoring offences, including dangerous driving and failing to stop for police following a collision in the Crawford Square area on May 27.
