A 40-year-old man has been arrested following the seizure of £100,000 worth of drugs at a house in Ballymena.

The drugs are believed to be cocaine and mephedrone.

The man is in police custody following his arrest on possession and intention to supply the class A and B drugs and cultivating cannabis.

Detective Sergeant Wallace from Reactive and Organised Crime said: “ We are very pleased to have taken a large quantity of illegal drugs off the streets of Ballymena. I would urge anyone with any information about the use or supply of illegal drugs to contact police on 101."
