Man charged over £100,000 drugs seizure in Dungannon

The accused is due to appear before court on Monday

A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection with the seizure of suspected drugs worth an estimated £100,000 in Co Tyrone.

Police made the seizure during a search in the Coalisland Road area of Dungannon on Friday.

The man has been charged with possession of Class A, B and C controlled drugs, possession of a Class A and B controlled drugs with intent to supply, and possession of a firearm or ammunition in suspicious circumstances.



He is due to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on Monday, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

A 23-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man arrested during Friday’s search have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
