A boat and a campervan have been recovered by police investigating the disappearance and suspected murder of Carrie Mullane in Co Fermanagh.
The PSNI has been granted an extra 24 hours to question a 35-year-old man arrested on Tuesday in connection with the Limerick mother-of-four.
They are seeking specific information in relation to a blue and white campervan which has no wheels, and a boat which was recovered from the River Erne on Friday.
At a press conference on Friday, Detective Superintendent Richard Thornton said the Major Investigation Team was “keeping an open mind” as to what happened to Ms Mullane, whose whereabouts remains unknown.
She was not located in either the boat or campervan that police are seeking information about.
When asked if police were seeking anyone else in connection with Ms Mullane’s disappearance, DS Richard Thornton did not rule out further arrests.
He also would not confirm whether a man known to Ms Mullane who had travelled to Enniskillen with her on Saturday 10 October was the man who was in custody.
The PSNI believe she was murdered hours after arriving in Enniskillen.
“Carrie is a much loved mother, sister and friend and is greatly missed by everyone who knows and loves her,” DS Thornton said.
“She was last seen on 10 October, after travelling to Enniskillen with a man known to her. The last confirmed sighting we have of Carrie was when she travelled by taxi from Enniskillen bus station on Wellington Road to Trasna Park at approximately 9pm on that Saturday night.
“From this point on, her movements are unknown and this is where we hope that the public can help us.
“We are releasing images of a boat and a campervan today that we believe are linked to Carrie’s disappearance and suspected murder. Establishing the movements of these could yield vital evidence in the search for Carrie.

“We want to hear from anyone who may have sighted either the boat or the campervan between the late hours of 10 October and 1st of November, and from anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam, doorbell or any other kind of footage.
“In particular I would like to appeal to boat owners on Upper Lough Erne who may have seen this boat on the lough in between these dates.”
DS Thornton added that Carrie had been a regular visitor to Enniskillen but that her loved ones were based in Limerick.
He confirmed that the boat recovered from Tullyinishmore Jetty between Enniskillen and Carrybridge on Friday is the boat police are seeking information about and believe is connected to Ms Mullane’s disappearance.
“Any piece of information, no matter how small or insignificant you may think it to be, could prove key in bringing Carrie home and providing answers for her loved ones,” DS Thornton added.
“As the investigation progresses we continue to explore a number of lines of enquiry and keep an open mind with regards to the circumstances, and whilst we are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support shown by the community, I ask that the public refrain from speculation particularly online, while our enquiries continue.
“We have a large team of detectives from both local CID and the Major Investigation Team, supported by local uniform officers, who are working on this case and we are committed to continuing our search for Carrie for as long as it takes.”
Members of Ms Mullane’s family are believed to have travelled to Enniskillen in recent days as the PSNI’s efforts to locate her intensify.
Her sister, Sandra Noonan, posted a heartfelt message on social media vowing to bring her “beautiful” sister home.
“I will get you hme I promise you if it’s the last thing we do,” she wrote.
