Man’s body found at Dublin residence

Gardai are investigating all circumstances of the man’s death.

An investigation has been launched after the body of a man was discovered in Dublin on Tuesday afternoon.

The body of a man aged in his 60s was found at a residence near Herberton Park in Dublin 8.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The scene has been preserved pending an examination by local scenes of crime officers.

The State pathologist and local coroner have been notified and the results of the post-mortem examination are expected to guide the direction of the Garda investigation.
