TENANTS are being sought for a former school site in west Belfast which is being transformed into a £7 million mixed-use community hub.
Work is set to begin at St Comgall's on Divis Street and the redevelopment is due to be completed in 2020.
The plans include a multi-purpose conference hall opening onto a restored central courtyard with a glass pyramid roof.
An exhibition space, a permanent visitor attraction, office accommodation, and a café and information point will also be created in the design.
Established firms, fledgling businesses and social enterprise groups are being encouraged to come forward to express their interest as prospective tenants for the new facility.
Belfast lord mayor Deirdre Hargey described it as a "really exciting project" and an "important economic driver for the west of the city".
Belfast City Council is contributing £3.5m to the redevelopment, which is being matched by funding from the Social Investment Fund under the Delivering Social Change framework.
The St Comgall's site was occupied by the old Belfast Model School from 1855 until it was destroyed by fire in 1922.
The current two-storey building, known as Comgall's Public Elementary School, opened in December 1933 and closed in the mid-1990s.
