COMEDIAN Paddy Kielty has named his baby son James Patrick, with the new-born taking his middle name from his famous dad.

It's a second son for the Co Down man and his presenter wife Cat Deeley of the hit show So You Think Can Dance.

The couple are already parents to two-year-old Milo.

They confirmed their happy news in a statement to People magazine saying: "We are over the moon with happiness and Milo is the perfect big brother."

The couple live now in LA in the United States but make regular trips back to Kielty's home in Dundrum.

The new baby is a welcome milestone this year for Kielty, who earlier this year opened up about the murder of his father Jack by the UFF in 1988.

In April, the 47-year-old made a courageous documentary examining his feelings 20 years after the peace agreement in the BBC programme My Dad, The Peace Deal and Me.
