More than 100 gardaí have launched a wave of dawn raids across Dublin's north inner city in an operation linked to the capital's deadly gangland feud.
Eleven properties – mainly homes – were targeted in the early morning searches coordinated from 7am onwards.
Elite armed garda units were involved in backing up local officers during the raids.
The operation was spearheaded by detectives investigating the killing of David Byrne, gunned down by a heavily-armed gang during a packed boxing weigh-in at the Regency Hotel in north Dublin earlier this month.
The murder was among a chain of suspected tit-for-tat killings linked to warring gangland factions based in Spain and Dublin.
The dawn raid operation was launched as an evidence-gathering exercise as the investigation into the murder, and the suspected reprisal killing of Eddie Hutch, brother of Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch, continues.
No arrests have been made.
