Paint bomb thrown at house in 'sectarian' attack

A PAINT bomb was thrown at the door of a house in north Belfast in a sectarian attack.

The house on Glenrosa Street was targeted between noon and 1.30pm on Wednesday.

The street is in the predominantly loyalist Tigers Bay area.

Police said it was "being treated as a sectarian hate incident".

It was unclear last night if the attack was linked to recent racist crimes in the area.

Last month, a Polish family was attacked in nearby Mountcollyer Avenue.

Several other homes occupied by foreign nationals on Mountcollyer Avenue have also been targeted in recent weeks.
