DO you have an NVQ level 2 Beauty Therapy and some free time? If so Cancer Focus Northern Ireland would like to hear from you.

The charity needs volunteer nail techicians to help in its nail bars in the Belfast and Craigavon areas.

The nail bars offer treatments to men and women receiving cancer treatment.

Susan Johnston is the lead Nail Bar Volunteer with Cancer Focus NI and said it is important for cancer patients "to get some time away from their treatment and forget about being in hospital".

“It is so satisfying when patients tell me how much better they feel in themselves and feedback from nursing staff is always excellent.

"As well as treatments for women, we also offer hand massages and nail care advice to men – everyone deserves some time out and pampering.”
